Lenin Street Hostel & Tours
1. Check-In & Check-Out Times
- Check-In: 14:00–20:00
- Check-Out: 08:00–10:00
- We do not have a 24/7 reception, so each guest will be greeted by the Hostel Manager in person.
How to Check-In?
- Option 1: Schedule your arrival time with the Hostel Manager (±30 minutes). The manager will meet you at the agreed time.
- Option 2: If you did not confirm your arrival time or contact us in advance:
Do not attempt to enter the hostel without proper check-in.
Call or message us at +37368188352 to request check-in.
The manager will schedule a specific time for your arrival (subject to availability).
Note: Immediate check-in is unlikely, as the manager may not be on-site.
Late Arrival Policy:
If you miss your scheduled check-in time, the manager will wait 20 minutes before departing. If delayed, contact us immediately (call, message, or ask a local for assistance—there are always people nearby!). Failure to notify may result in fees or rescheduling.
SIM Cards with Internet:
SIM cards with internet can be purchased in Chisinau for €4 , ensuring you stay connected. Don’t worry—there’s no need to fear being lost or harmed in Transnistria! (This is a joke! No such incidents involving foreigners have occurred in the past 35 years.)
Late Check-In Fees:
- 20:00–22:00: €5 per person
- 22:00–23:00: €7 per person
- 23:00–00:00: €10 per person
Early Check-In Fees:
- 10:00–14:00: €6 per person
- Note: If your room is still being cleaned, you may leave luggage and explore the city for 2 hours.
Early Check-Out Fees:
- 06:00–08:00: €8 per person
Late Check-Out Fees:
- 10:00–14:00: €10 per person
Luggage Storage:
- Before Check-In: Treated as an early check-in (see fees above).
- After Check-Out: €2 per person (stored with our partner shop next door).
2. Payment Policy
Accepted Currencies: Transnistrian Rubles (TMT) are preferred.
€ (EUR) and $ (USD) are also accepted. Moldovan Lei (MDL) is exchanged at a 1:1 rate with Transnistrian Rubles.
Security Deposit:
€25 per room for 1–2 guests .
€50 per room for 3+ guests .
(Deposits are non-refundable but cover damages or rule violations.)
Third-Party Bookings (Airbnb, Agoda, etc.):
Prices are displayed in MDL because Transnistrian Rubles are not recognized by these platforms.
Important: We may not receive your correct contact details via these platforms. You must message us directly to confirm check-in instructions.
3. House Rules
- No Shoes Inside: Shoes must be removed at all times.
- Daily Cleaning Hours: 10:00 AM–12:30 PM. Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 AM for cleaning.
- No guests allowed inside during this time (including in rooms).
Prohibited Items/Actions:
- Sleeping Bags/Blankets: Not allowed. Penalty: €100 (prevents bedbugs).
- Smoking/Candles/Open Flames: Strictly prohibited. Penalty: €200 (smoke removal costs).
- Alcohol/Drugs/Food/Drinks in Rooms/Balcony: Not permitted.
Exception: Water may be consumed in the kitchen (ceramic flooring).
Penalty: Full deposit forfeiture .
Note: Enjoy drinks at local bars—7+ options within a 10-minute walk!
Quiet Hours:
- Curfew (23:00–08:00): No music, cooking, or loud noise.
- No parties allowed at any time.
Unauthorized Stay: Remaining on premises without payment is prohibited.
Washing Machine: €5 per load (manager approval required).
Cleanliness: Clean shared spaces (kitchen, shower, toilet) after use.
Electrical Safety: Do not use plugs near beds or leave devices plugged in unattended.
Liability Waiver: The hostel is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Parking:
- Bicycles: Indoor storage (at your own risk).
- Cars: Free street parking available.
- Secure Parking (24/7 CCTV): Available at Red Star Guest House .
Pets:
- Fee: €10,000 per animal per night.
- Deposit: €50,000.
4. General Terms
- By booking, guests agree to these rules. If not , you are welcome to cancel your booking and search for another hostel with no rules, no deposits, or “everything allowed” policies. We take a different approach to hospitality—so if you prefer party hostels, do not book here .
- Non-Refundable Payments: Accommodation and deposits cannot be refunded.
Rule Violations:
- Immediate cancellation of stay.
- Single warning before removal.
- Deductions from deposit to cover damages. If damage costs exceed the deposit, guests must cover the full restoration cost.
Advanced Reservations (30+ Days):
- Send proof of travel (e.g., tickets to Chisinau/Odessa) to +37368188352 within 2 days of booking.
- Failure to provide proof will result in your room being reassigned. No complaints will be accepted thereafter.
