      Amazing Glory and War Tour led by Dmitri!

      Having decided to book night to stay at Lenin Street Hostel in Tiraspol, Pridnestrovie it was a no brainer to also book onto one of the tours to explore this fascinating country.

      In all, I had an unforgettable experience from the walking tour of Tiraspol and Bender to crossing the Dnister River on the Soviet ferry. Dimitri is very knowledgeable and a born native on the history, politics and culture of the Soviet Union and PMR. I highly recommend anyone to visit and book onto one of these tours!

      We spent a wonderful day with Dmitri. We visited Marta and Maria monastery, Bender city, Bender fortress, bottle museum and tiraspol. We ate in the Soviet canteen (very tasty food), and enjoyed walks and kvass.
      Dmitri is a great guide and we recommend a tour with him, you won’t be bored. We will definitely visit Transnistria again with him.

      One of the best trips of my life! Most enjoyed the excursion to Aquatir – a fish factory breeding different types of sturgeon, with tasting of caviar and smoked sturgeon. We are very grateful to Dimitri for organizing this tour. I really want to come again with the children, cross the Dniester by ferry, buy the “bouquet of Moldova” in the bottling, see the fins and be sure to return once more to the fish factory!!
