Jorge from Spain on Young Pioneer Easter city Tour
On April 20th, Russian Orthodox Easter, we had the pleasure of guiding Jorge from Spain on a memorable walking tour through the red streets of Tiraspol. The city was glowing with spring light, Soviet architecture, and Easter spirit — a perfect backdrop for deep conversations and unexpected encounters.
Thanks to our wonderful comrades from Tiraspol, we were invited into a local home to share in the holiday warmth. There’s something magical about sitting at a Moldovan table on Easter day, exchanging stories, and discovering new perspectives.
Jorge, with his thoughtful insights and curious mind, brought Spain to the sidewalks of Transnistria. Together, we talked about social life in modern Spain versus the unique rhythms of self-proclaimed Transdnistria, drawing both surprising parallels and striking contrasts.
Moments like these remind us that travel isn’t just about places — it’s about people, shared experiences, and those spontaneous conversations that stay with you long after the journey ends.
Gracias, Jorge, for walking with us!
